Since the working group is expanding every day, it does not matter who we are individually, as much as the issues we feel are important to discuss. We are about freedom of speech, and the right to be heard. As for “anonymity”, some members are fearful of retribution, because of how they have seen others being treated in board meetings, attempting to voice their opinions and ideas, only to be shouted down, told to “shut up”, and “sit down”. This treatment and unprofessional behavior from the association’s representatives and their followers should not have to be tolerated.
The working group is made up of every walk of life. Our race, religion, background, and politics may all be different from one another. Yet, we all share the same vision and are united in standing up for the right to be heard on the very important issues that are facing our community today and in the future.
The individual identities of non-profit organizations or groups are rarely listed for publication. Our member’s anonymity will always be protected. Individuals who wish to disclose their affiliation may do so on their own accord. Our website will shine a light on the identity of some of our core group facilitators when it is completed.
In the meantime, ERWG, is geared toward providing valid information and resources to our community in order to give our neighbors the tools they may need when making a decision.
The Ethics and Rules Working Group’s mission is to encourage property owners to join together, with the aim of establishing a culture that is inclusive and transparent, in an atmosphere that is built upon trust and respect.
